Mission Service Corps (MSC) is a pathway for adults to serve as missionaries in an assigned ministry that supports the evangelism and church planting efforts of the North American Mission Board (NAMB). MSC missionaries are self-funded through financial support from ministry partners, some are tentmakers – serving bivocationally and supporting themselves via markerplace employments – and some are supported through retirement income. The placement of MSC missionaries is coordinated through the Missionary Deployment Team of the North American Mission Board.
- MSC missionaries commit to a minimum of 20 hours a week in a missionary role.
- MSC missionaries may serve in a full-time career missionary role.
- College and seminary not required.
